I still do not understand exactly what time control you are using, it sounds like you are suggesting a time control of 8 hours with an increment of 240 minutes for every move? I sent you an e-mail with an attachment. The time in the middle of the game is white, 83.34.57 and black 65.02.51. The star...

What time control are you using? Actually, the game was most likely 8.00.00 / 4.00.00, as the games I currently start are and 240 minutes per move. See the correction below. You mention a time control of 60 hours for the game and 240 minutes per move? Correction on my previous statement: I thought ...

Here is another one. I am White, HIARCS is Black. For the first 15 moves Deep HIARCS 14 WCSC made quick moves. HIARCS analysis states that White is almost a whole pawn ahead. If HIARCS had made slower moves, I wonder if the table would be more even. Time details are the same as last game. How do I m...

I am playing this game as White against Deep HIARCS 14 WCSC as Black. Up to move 24, Black was nearly a pawn ahead according to HIARCS analysis. Then HIARCS made a quick, immediate move, 24...Nh4. The engine thought for less than a second. It turns out to be a very bad move. If I make the move 25. B...

Will version 2.0 be compatible with websites that only take PGN? I upload my saved repertoire games to http://www.365chess.com as a back up, in case of computer problems. In version 2.0 we intend to have our own database format which will be much more concise than PGN or PGN zip files.

Deep HIARCS Analysis Discrepancy
Hello, I had played this game as White against Deep HIARCS 14 WCSC (DH). The game was set to 60:00:00 per side. Then I used Deep HIARCS to analyze the game, with an average analysis time of 30 seconds per move. DH tells me that one of the moves made by Black were not the best moves by showing the (?...

Deep Junior 13.3 for the Mac
So I just received an e-mail to say that Deep Junior 13.3 for the Mac is now available. I currently use Deep Hiarcs 14 WCSC and I think it's great. How do the 2 engines compare?

I have not heard of any such issue before, can you please give me details to help me understand the issue and try to repoduce it... I am beginning to think it is not your program, but my computer! Since my last post, I am noticing Word, Safari and other programs slowing down or freezing up. This ma...

There is not a force move in analysis mode since the analysis is just going on while you are looking at a position. When you make a move the analysis moves to the current position. I was not speaking of using the 2 features at the same time. In analysis mode you can press the space bar (or Edit->In...

Analysis Explorer and Force Move
Hello,
When I am playing a game against HIARCS, or viewing a game, Analysis Explorer and Force Move don't respond when I click them.
HIARCS has been working great until today. I don't know what happened to it.
