This may be off topic but I had a weird occurrence only yesterday. I had Linkinus for IRC open and started analyzing a game. I noticed that the engine ran really slowly so I checked the running processes. To my surprise both Linkinus and Linkinus Agent were using up to 100% CPU. Quitting HCE didn’t ...

Well it’s a tough one because piece movement got worse with the last update. Now it’s hard for me to tell if it got even worse or if it’s the same as before. That doesn’t help I know. If no one else with MBP has the problem maybe it’s only in my head. After testing it on battery I think it’s better ...

It’s not only on Macbook Air. I have a 2010 Macbook Pro with the same problem. Deactivating AppNap didn’t resolve the choppiness issue.

After looking at it in-depth I agree that 18.f4 is probably the best move. But 18.Re8 is a also very good. Both moves deserve a ! imo.

I can confirm this also. Sometimes it will go out of book, and no back and forth will get it into book again for that very position.

May I ask where you get the URLs for the live games from? Let's say for the women Wch 2013 or for the Sinquefield Cup 2013. Thanks!

I concur. When your walking through a game rather quickly the movement looks choppy. I liked the old movement better.

You can copy the position and the go Search->Position to find similar positions in your db.

I'm not sure if you can do anything about it but when you reload the pgn file the game always goes to the last move. It would be nice if it would stay at the move you left it before the update.

I'd like to suggest adding the possibility of marking squares and dragging arrows by say cmd+click and cmd+drag. This would be great for analyzing your games and playing correspondence chess in order to remember your plans when you don't make a move for days.

The indent is great for differentiating between levels of variations, but it doesn’t help with variations of the same level. Maybe highlighting the first move would help with that. I actually like that there are no brackets, makes it a lot cleaner.
