Dear Hiarcs Members, As you may have heard there is going to be a tournament on the Rybka Forum in a couple of months. And I am looking at the other forums in the hopes to bring t...

I have been looking at the interest of having a tournament on this forum. An the input has been overwhelmingly positive as up to now everyone has had ...

Are you suggesting he is not a native Spanish speaker!? Either that or he is very sloppy, his machine translated English is really bad because the translator isn't capable of recognizing his bad Spanish in several words. Where have you seen the capitalisation before? On the emails that Pedro receiv...

No doubt Johandry Espin is a liar, of note I find, first, that he tends "To Capitalize words Randomly, where Have I seen that Before"? “Legal matter (Code SquarknII) Thursday, July 22, 2010 9:41 PM From: "Intel Corporation" <software@intel.com> Estimated Mr. Pedro Castro Elgarrre...

Yes, we got Rybka at high depth and much more, that may be the key to winning (if that's even possible, I'm trying to keep hope, but it escapes.)

Thanks Nelson, good luck on the freestyle. :)

17.Bf3 was played, I think that chances we're playing Rybka 3 at high depth are really high.

But that's with multi-PV 2, I'd say the opponent isn't even doing that and will play the single PV Rybka move (Bf3, I think.)

These doubled pawns in the center look ugly to me, I wonder if GMs would reach this position as white, and it's drawish (real GMs would try to get to positions that engines play badly, I don't think that we're in one.) I'd vote that we're playing engine too, if asked. 8. b3 is a move that Rybka 3 fi...

Congrats Dark Horse! I couldn't sit there to play a long correspondence game unassisted, I even have problems in 30min/game time controls in where I'm moving too fast because I don't know what to do with the extra time.

What could you say about Rybka 3's playing style that is very different than Rybka 2.2's style?
