Hi Mark, You may buy not one but two old Fritz from eBay and still end up having no valid serial (e.g. bad quality photo, seller forgot that he activated serial) or 1-month / 3-months access instead of 1 year or pay the same amount (if you use the "make offer" button) and have the serial ...

Hi Jarek, Just to make you aware you are up against another cheap source of playchess.com serials. If you buy an old copy of Fritz software (Fritz 8,9,10 etc) from ebay, Amazon or Play.com - they often come with a serial and are only about £8 - £10 rather than the £23.50 you ar asking. So even if yo...

The other good thing about the Avast is that it supports 64 bit with no issues. I am an XPx64 bit Windows fan and very few AVs support that - Avast Free does.

I agree. I have tried most offerings over time (free and commercial) and the free AVAST is excellent and is what I use now. Offers good protection, easy to use and is low on resouces.

Hi.

Right click on each icon for the programs that you use, go to properties and on the "shortcut" tab go to Run and selecting maximised. It should now open properly every time. Hope this helps.

Thanks! Is it always split in multiple files? There used to be some torrents where you could download all 3/4/5 man tables (7Gb) in one go. However I searched for this a few months ago and could not find it anywhere anymore. To be honest if you Google and look around places like ebay you can find p...

Hi Peter, Yes I think you are correct - surely not a coincidence. Having said that I'm not sure why that should be the case as I would have thought there would be more discussion and exchange of views about the Playchess engine room than ever before now that democracy has been re-established.....but...

Hi, There is a very good online openings database. It is made up from over 3 million games and as you to play through a line it will show you at each point the % of white vs black wins and it also allows you download all the games with that specific position. Have a look: http://www.chessopeningsdat...
