Dr Soren Riis's 4 part series on ChessBase.com was well written and displayed a civil and mature viewpoint which is sorely missing in todays computer chess world.

I share his view on the ICGA investigation :

Chessbase GUI 12 update 23 (Aug 12,2011) has moved the alternate colors option and the number of games option from the main engine vs. engine setup dialog to the database section for engine matches. Perhaps this change has led you to the false conclusion that engine vs engine matches no longer work ...
