Thanks for a reply - I'm really amateur. I loaded down the drivers from http://goneill.co.nz/novag and put it in the folder with my windboard.exe and it didn't work. I have the NOVAG Universal Electronic Chessboard wich I could easy connect with Winboard 4.8.0 under OG Windows XP. Now I have W10 and an USB Adapter which simulate COM 1.
