Does anyone know what is going on with DGT and their Chess Computer line?
It seems the Centaur was very wildly popular, but I don't believe the unit has changed (outside of a minor upgrade) since its release over 4 years ago. I would have hoped DGT would have been inspired by all the mods to the unit to add additional functionality, and that would have been an impetus to release future units. Where are the additional engine options (no more Stockfish), the custom opening books, the online connectivity, the ability to connect to smartphone apps?
Still waiting for the Centaur Plus, the Centaur 2.0, the Minotaur???
Evolution Regards,
Greg

Re: DGT Chess Computers?
Look at the TKP, for example. He is also 4 years old and no one complains that he continues with Johan de Koning's program, and it is an older and weaker programme.
