Question to Elite A/S Glasgow owners

Post by Tschens »

Hello,
the Elite A/S Glasgow behaves in some points differently than the Budapest version. When activating „Game Control e1“ and/or „Game Control e3“, the Budapest Version acts exactly as described in the manual here:
https://www.progettosnaps.net/manuals/pdf/feasbu.pdf
while for the Glasgow, it does not make any difference if e3 is activated or not. Did anyone find out what is the effect of activating e3?

Hello,

I think it is wrong in Budapest to talk about <<Game Control e1“ and/or „Game Control e3>>, because E3 is complementary to E1, i.e. E3 only has an effect if E1 is also enabled.

Although you are right, in Glasgow E1 is the equivalent of E1+E3 in Budapest. If I remember correctly, E3 in Glasgow is a print function, probably "Double height". But I can't say for sure right now.

You could check the manual of a model immediately after Elite A/S, equipped with Glasgow software, and look at the options. I remember using E3 in printing, that's why I mention it.

Best,

Thanks a lot Gerardo, that helped!
I think page 6 of the scheme in the manual for Elite Avantgarde is the one that fits to Glasgow:
