I would appreciate some help.
A friend of mine owns a
SciSys Turbo 16k Kasparov Computer Chess Table Top Game ~17 Level Chess Computer
and is missing 2 magnetic chess pieces, more specifically:
- 1 dark greycoloured bishop
- 1 silver coloured pawn (soldier)
Do you have any idea on how to replace those missing pieces?
Is there any website or any individual that could sell this kind of pieces?

I doubt it.I collect chess computers and had many like the tasc r-30 and more.Those pieces with the magnetic coils are extremely hard to replace unless the manufacturer is still producing that model.Only then it might be possible to contact the manufacturer for additional pieces.The best choice is to go to Ebay and purchase a used SciSys and keep both sets of pieces for spares,incase more is lost.Or maybe someone has a SciSys that does not work anymore,but will sell the whole thing cheap with the pieces.Again ebay is your best choice.
