He makes some good points, but laying all of this and the alleged beginning of the end of classical chess at the feet of computer chess is a bit of a stretch. Maybe the reason for the boring results so far is as simple as two players afraid to stick their necks out.

I believe the match is very close; that is why so many draws. We have to ask ourselfs how many draws were in the Capablanca-Alekhine match?, or in recent years how many draws were in the Kasparov-Karpov match?.
