Every now and again we all need to take a walk on the WildSide..so i matched these two Fidelity computers

The EAS-Budapest Vs.The Fidelity ChessMaster 2100
The CM2100 was running on my dual core i5 2.54 Ghz Win 7 Laptop
no idea what it is rated

In The Game
EAS has white and both computers are in book through move 16
it dosent take long for the EAS to go wrong..5-6 moves out of book
and it faces an irresistible attack with the CM's pieces all aimed at the EAS's K.
EAS offers little resistance and is mated by move 33

Hi Steve!
As for the rumors on the $2700 bidding for EAS...i can tell u at least the following.
I did bid on this item couple of times, starting with $139, 159, 259, ..always overbidden by anonymous! The next days i had to go to Switzerland for business reasons and started an eBay bidding engine, errorneously entered in $2689 meant to be $689 !!! Missed the leading 2 !!

So when i came back home, i was quite surprised what was mess was going on here...
...but with a really big portion of luck, the same anonymous bidder did the final high bid on this!
But as u said, it seems that the guy winning the auction is the same who placed it, ...i don't know for what reason one would do this. Assume he was surprised himself what he actually had in his hands with this unit...and didn't want to sell (the $2700 printer) finally!

Lucky bidding machine regards,
Wolfgang
