Berlin Pro London?

This photo is from my own Berlin Pro London battery compartment lid.
Note under "berlin professional" the word "London" appears.
But if you look closely you will notice the word "London" is not
emblazoned on the battery compartment lid, but is written on a
black sticker and placed on the lid.

In this current ebay Germany auction, "London" is not there.
The comp is being sold minus the box. I'm wondering if the auction
is actually for a Berlin Pro (non London) with an updated ROM.
To be fair, the seller does say "update"

The London update was not an update released by the Mephisto company Larry
rather it was an update released by Richard Lang himself and sold by distributors world wide on his behalf
so your label is a label placed there by either a previous owner or by the distributor

Every one of my Mephistos with the London update(4 different Mephisto models ) have no label or marking from the company itself

i think the auction is for a Berlion Pro London but i have no idea if the London Eprom is an authentic Lang eprom or a copied eprom

You are actually in London?
You there representing the USA in the chess computer event?
Larry
PS Almost forgot to mention, note my avatar and the serial number
in it. It's one digit different to your V9.
