Well I have never before seen one of these, nor even a picture of one!
Scrolling down past the Elite, you will see it.
It has a brown back plate with a trophy embedded into it, and
no control buttons on it.
The controls are all in the playing mat.
The processor speed is given as 50% higher than the normal
Voice Champion, ie, 3mhz.
The year of manufacture is given as 1981, so it would be the
normal Champion program, with perhaps a few minor refinements.
Anyone shed any light on this model? Anyone even heard of it?
Was it one of those "one off" productions, like the Travemunde?

Was contacted by Hein regarding the WCC a few days ago
Quite certain this was never released for sale
not the only time Fidelity advertised a computer which never left the Prototype stage

the so called "Travelmunde" is not like this ..
That was sold by a one man shop in Germany who modified Fidelity computer's
Similar to some guy in the UK who every now and again can be seen selling modified Applied Concepts/Chafitz chess computers (GGM board and modules) on Ebay

the computer called "Travemünde" is a tournament machine (TM) which played and won 1981 in the second world championship in Travemünde. It was a Champion Elite with 5Mhz and a special opening. It is like a Mephisto TM Vancouver 68030 66Mhz. It was special build for the Championship.

Thats right
i always get confused when it comes to computers not actually released for sale
Mephisto "X" or Fidelity "Y" experimental tournament machines or modified computers or prototypes..etc .etc
