Another Problem for a Citizen of a Remote country

Post by Fernando »

...not always this people ship to Chile.
Look at this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Original-owner- ... 6algo%3DRE

If any of you can get it and send it to me, I pay you at once the cost of the machine, mail, etc and even with an extra profit margin of $1.

Everything for my colleagues regards
Fern

The opening bid is only $45 but the VCC can wind up selling for $1000+
it is not a BUY NOW auction

I can help you with auction though..

That chess computer is basically a Fidelity CC7 with a voice. Good to
use as a doorstop. I take your point about the remote country though,
I am in the same position. It can work in your favor when a fellow
Chilean has a big heavy wooden chess comp, and no foreign bidders
because of the shipping cost.

I have bought chess computers in every continent except Africa and Antarctica.

I sent an ARB once to Germany and about 4 weeks later when we started tracking it, it turns out that the computer was sent to a similarly (sounding) named city in Russia.

Well after being upset and disgusted and requesting from post office that if they locate it to send it back to me. Anyway about 3 months later the ARB turns up in Germany and more amazingly everything was still functional after spending a winter in the Russian Post Office system.

So everyone was belatedly happy.

Best regards,
Nick
