Lexibook Plastyic comps...

Post by Fernando »

They are available in Amazon. Not more expensive than 50 bucks. I wonder if some of you knows what kind of engine uses....
Yes, I know, not Houdini, but, who knows....maybe something decent.

Fwiw: The Lexibook $9.99 is the starting bidding price, not a BuyNow.

Seldom a problem for me is not delivering to Australia. Simply ask
them if you can bid from Chile. Tell them about your feedback rating
(I assume it's high). Assure them you have good delivery.
Not meaning to start a race riot, perhaps some Europeans and
Americans imagine Chile as a bit third worldy and therefore have
a doubtful delivery service.

PS Editing my post, I just dropped by:
http://www.schach-computer.info/wiki/in ... -Elo-Liste
and found:
Lexibook Chessman Pro 1277
Lexibook Travel Chess Explorer 1277

Probably be put away in the closet after 10 minutes.

Larry, I shall test my lexibook chessman against others I own at 30s/move and feed back. Me, with luck, and no glass of wine, 1500 elo. I win & lose but this machine is fun to play against.

The Systema Challenge however is a stronger oponent. The fun part is changing the evaluation function. The default setting is probably the strongest.

Played two 30/sec move games Chessman Classic vs Radio shack 1850 rated 1450 elo.
Chessman lost with both black & white. Playing white the game lasted 24 moves. It made a silly pawn grab and was mated in 2. Playing black the game lasted 52 moves. Chessman was slowly ground down, pawn structure in disarray & lost a bishop unnecessarly.

So Chessman is under 1450 elo. Perhaps as you suggest around 1300.

I think I might have been a bit more... how should I say... "reserved" in choosing my words when speaking to an Admiral.

For example... "just let them know your UPS delivery is outstanding".

Then again... after reading the first post here: http://www.allchile.net/chileforum/topic5982.html

I might have phrased it: "Our FedEx service is impeccable".

Just a fwiw.

Firing Squad regards,

(or the more appropriate Naval reference)

Yes, there are sometimes some problems with that, as in any country. Those guys in that place yell too much making profit of his supposed situation of first world citizens in a supposed third rate country.
Typical.
They play a very well known role forgetting completely the shortcomings of his own countries.

I know, but the real word is understood as such.
What a heck those dirty immigrants believe they are regards.
Maybe some mail is lost here, but we all take a shower every day. Not something many of those "first world" guys could say.
