Some people just don't appreciate a good value. Fr'instance, no one has shown any interest in my RARE Saitek Olympiad!

Sometimes, I just want to make another eBay tag and email these sellers, "you know, there is a reason you only paid $2.00 for it at that yard sale... Quit watching 'Pickers' on the History Channel and maybe bother to check what the item sold for in previous eBay listings. If someone could not get $12 for it, you may not get $300"... But then there is always that bidder who buys the hype that it is "RARE". EBay, stupidity on steriods. Sadly, I am party to it as well, lol.

Well, in a sense it is rare. After all, how many CC7s do you see with a $300 price tag!?
Chess is like painting the Mona Lisa whilst walking through a minefield.

Is that new Olympiad yours? How did you acquire it if you don't mind me asking.

True, true. I am just laughing at all this because I have not watched chess computers on ebay that much, so I have to run bid histories to get a feel for the average price if I am interested in a unit. And I am amazed most sellers do not do it when selling items they are not familiar with. But that also leads to good deals to, so I guess it balances out sometimes.
