Oh My God!!!

Post by Fernando »

Four games in a row lost to Super Connie following the same pattern; I get advantage in positional and even tactical terms, two pawns or more and the the beleaguered computer launch incredible precise counterattacks and as much you feel a draw would be humiliating considering your edge, you fight to preserve it and ....

What a good program has, but the same....

Jumping with delirious rage over SC regards
Fern

I've got an even better idea. Start the game with SC down a queen.

No sir!
I am not crushed. I am slowly defeated after a long struggle where my exhaustion take from me, bit by bit, a degree of concentration in the same moments SC gets deeper and deeper with less pieces on the board.
It is a near-run thing and I know I will tame the beast sooner or later.
I am still playing it as I write or do anything else.

waiting my full concentration regards

Coincidently ...Back in 2010 I sponsered an odd's match between GM Larry Kaufman and the Novag Connie-3.6 Mhz
The GM had white and had to play without his QR
he managed to win the game!

I suppose you tell us that old history to enhance my spirit.

BTW To connie 3.6, which I had years ago, once I mated with a 16 ply calculation tree!!!

My best chess moment ever regards

a true display of Chessic proportions
I have an even better record..only in reverse
I was once close to losing against the Saitek Brute Force but then I hit upon a brilliant saving resource ..I took back 20 ply moves until I reached an earlier position where i was ahead..i continued play from here and was able to cling onto the draw

Swindle Regards
Steve

Sorry, but if to recover a game and get a draw is the business, i saved a game with a 34 ply combination.

Humble regards
