I verified the 3 German EAS. They all speak German.
- serial #763741 and Serial #763842 are Budapest.
- serial #764666 is definitely a modified computer and certainly not a Pre-Budapest.

Seems like the German serial numbers are consecutive anyhow. Good news.
Still we don't understand how the numbers should be "decoded".
You can update your webpage with the new information, and hope for someone to crack this nut.

I was just looking for a manual for my chess challenger Fidelity and saw all these discussions about serial numbers... Some of you guys searching and researching for over 40 years. Well if Simone can post a link to a manual that will be great it a video of how to play it, as I have no clue how to get it going ...

Also the serial number is 78927.. the address is 5245 W Diversey AVE, Chicago, Illinois, 60639

Gentlemen and ladies, I bought one second hand and it appears not to be working. Only the CL. 1 lights up. No other buttons are active when pressed. I have trays many combinations of pressing and holding... Also it has been modified as it has a modern plug attached to it 9v 1amp, has anyone got any advice for me or is it past its sell by date..
