Ah, that explains the 2340 estimated rating for Hiarcs on that hardware then. Thanks!

Hi,

something interesting happened in the game Risc 2500 vs. Tasc R 30 2.5.

According to the tablebases after 75.Rh7 black can draw with either 75. ...Rc8 or 75. ...Kc6 but after 75. ...Kc5?? white missed out on a mate in 48!!

Now I am trying to calculate how long it would take poor old Risc 2500 to calculate 96 ply deep...
