Feature Request: Ability to fold annotations

Post by DimEyeChessGuy »

Good morning.
So a 'problem' surfaced this morning that I keep running in to. In my USCF Correspondence games, I am creating reams of analysis. As the game goes on, prior move analysis is still on the screen taking up space.

I'd love to have the ability to fold up annotations. Here is the link to the CB functionality.

This is actually really tedious and difficult to navigate currently.

This is already considered. Some questions remain though:
1. Should the game automatically fold at certain level?
2. Should it autofold/unfold if you are at certain line?
3. Should it use some shortcuts?

1. No. Let the user choose when to fold/unfold
2. No, let the user choose when to fold/unfold
3. Yes, please. Keyboarding is faster than mousing.

If I get to a move in a game and I'd like to fold/unfold, a readily available kb shortcut would be quick and intuitive. Like this.
