In the database tab it's not so immediate to spot which one is currently active.
Why not making it somewhat different (bold i.e.)?
I use to set a few databases as read-only to avoid accidental insertion of games (or having to abort it).
When I open HCE Pro I get the message "This database is read-only".
Yes, but which one, or ones, if there are more than one?
Why not making it clear in the tab?
Everything (except what used for currently active) works for me.

Re: Database Tab & Read-Only databases
I am afraid to change OS behaviour and how tabs are marked by OS, as this may cause problems with multiple OS versions being used.GoneBallistics wrote: ↑Sat Jan 20, 2024 10:29 am In the database tab it's not so immediate to spot which one is currently active.

Good idea, although it may not be easy to use icon, as this is used for engine.GoneBallistics wrote: ↑Sat Jan 20, 2024 10:29 am I use to set a few databases as read-only to avoid accidental insertion of games (or having to abort it).

Re: Database Tab & Read-Only databases
I get that: I was thinking in a windows only mode.
Would the tab name be better?
Could be database_name (c) or database name (r) or database name (cr) or whatever you prefer.
