About a minor opening name.

Post by miryu »

1. d4 b6 2. e4 Bb7 3. Bd3 f5 4. exf5 Bxg2 5. Qh5+ g6 6. fxg6 Nf6 7. gxh7+ Nxh5

Is this line really English Defence?

At least HIRCS Chess Explore says so.

It appears through a transposition the opening has changed from A40 to B00, the B00 was not caught and the classification fell back to the A40. I will look at how this can be created, but it might not appear until 1.8 depending on time availability.
Best wishes,
Mark
