How to get Hiarcs book to work with UCI engines?

Hello,

I recently purchases Deep Hiarcs with Chess Explorer for mac, and I am quite pleased with the product overall. However, I can't figure out how to get UCI engines to use the Hiarcs opening book, or any other book for that matter. When I do engine matches Hiarcs uses its book but other engines are on their own from the first move.

There is an option in the UCI engines for "book file" and they are set to something by default (such as "book.bin") but I don't know what directory they are looking in, or how to get them to use the Hiarcs book, or really any other. If I simply put in the name of the Hiarcs book there nothing changes about this behavior.

Currently the HIARCS books are not shared with other engines. Most engines support their own books, but it is true some sadly do not.
