Just wanted to stop in and say hello, as I have moved into Dylan's position as HIARCS Forum Team Captain. I also want to wish The Gladiators the very best for the new year.

We have posted our move recently and we do understand that the agreed upon break will end 2400 hrs Moscow time, 7 Jan 2009. As such, we will expect your move before 2400 hrs Moscow time, 2100 hrs GMT, on 9 Jan 2009. If there is a misunderstanding, please let us know.

Thanks
James

Hello again. If you remember your team offered to play chess960.
The Gladiator team accepted the offer. So we can play 2 chess 960 games after this one. :D

I did not find the post where Icy Shark Bar proposed chess960 for the second match. Maybe you could post the "quote". We did propose chess960 for the second game of this match.
I will ask the Icy Shark Bar team the question now, but, we may not be able to answer until we determine the Team Captains.

Thanks

Hi, the Hiarcs/Rybka forums team would want to know if your team would be interested in that the second game of the match to be a Fischer Random (Chess960) game.
There should be also a message on this topic somewhere.
You are right. You proposed chess 960 for 2nd games and it's me who proposed to play chess 960 after this 2 games.
Page 15:
Whould be easy we calclulated all until to end.
My team want to play first a second classical game with white.(you black)
And after this game we can play Chess 960.

NATIONAL12 will respond to you concerning a second match with the Rybka Forum. The HIARCS Forum will be taking a nice long break at which time a HIARCS Forum team captain will be selected (possibly me) and future matches will be discussed. Until then, we can make no commitments.

Thanks

Many of our team members were asking the names of the IM and GM players that contributed to your game. Can you tell us.

We had CC GM Harvey Williamson and IM Soren Riis.

Thanks
