Hiarcs 12

You know, I was just thinking: I bet that Harvey and Mark plant certain "bugs" into Hiarcs 12 so that it makes poor moves for black in the Katalymov Variation of the Sicilian Defense. They, on the white side, of course, will refer to them as "features".

Seems CB has set their release date to 28/3, not 25 as mentioned earlier.

But isn't the UCI version released earlier? At least for Hiarcs 11 owners?

Hiarcs 12 has been ready for a couple of weeks now,
That H 11 owners don´t got it must be buisnessrelated!
Chess base has to agree?

H12 CB has been ready for a week or so. The UCI has to have the book in a different format. It has to be compiled differently and then a windows installer made and then it has to be tested.

Why not update Hiarcs homesite more often,
as a service!

If Mark did that the release of H12 would take even longer as there is only one of him to do everything.

Upgrade pricing for eventual HIARCS 12: existing customers get chance to upgrade to new engines first.
