It's interesting that they estimate its rating at 2500; from the kN/s data, I would estimate its rating in the 2650-2700 range.

true , i think they just put a number on it ... seeing it's performance at the tournament I'd say the same , around 2700 elo

guess it depends on the PDA it's running on , overclocking PDA anyone ? :D
i've seen PDA's of with 800Mhz cpu power , might be intresting to have a testing to see , maybe a computer chess rating list for PDA/pocket engines ? ;)

From the photo I see it is a iPaq hx 2700 series. These have 624 Mhz as standard but be be O/C to 800 Mhz.It is hard to tell from these games just how strong it really is as the human opponents have been achiving O.K positions but then making horrible mistakes.I would like to test against the other strong PDA engines to make a comparison when released. But looking at the kN/s from the screenshot and the depth it seems that Hiarcs on PPC is much better than the current Palm version.
Does anyone know what the time control is for these games?

i believe they are slow time controls so something like 40mv/2h... or some FIDE tempo with increment
