I am afraid I have to say: I don't know when there will be one, since this is not my task.
I am responsible for the tournament book, not for the public release books.

Kind regards,
Sebi

Hello Harvey,

I bought Hiarcs 12 mainly for the Eric Hallsworth opening book but it's almost a year old and in computer chess that is a looong time, especially now with the Playchess turfwars. So I was hoping that Eric, (or you, or Mark?) was still working on a new updated version of the book, if there is going to be a new Chessbase version? Not that I really want to use it on Playchess but one likes to pretend to be up to date a little...

Regards, Eelco

since my HIARCS 12.1 is a Mac version and my HIARCS 12 the Windows version I cannot see the book in HIARCS 12.1 to know if it is different, thus far in Sigma Chess it seems to select the same book moves that are the leading moves in H12.ctg so I thought it was the same book, will have to do more detailed tests to see where the HIARCS 12.1 book deviates
