Does any one know when CB are going to release PF4?And has there been any testing of the real strenght improvement over PF3.Also any idea on some of the GUI improvements?These questios need answers.

Hello Cubeman, the new Pocket Fritz 4 ( Hiarcs 13.0 ) will go out to the sale in October of 2009, Not which are the final characteristics, I believe that it admits even 128M-256M of Hash Tables , but assurance that Stanislav Tsukrov will bear in mind the suggestions that we are saying to him in the forum Hiarcs , I hope that Pocket Fritz 4 has the adapt strength Elo …

What this one clear is that the new engine Hiarcs de Pocket Fritz 4 is much stronger than that of Pocket Fritz 3 and is a very important step, it looks like a new generation of engines of game.

With regard to the force of game of Hiarcs 12.1 I have come to the conclusion that mas that the force Elo of this program is such a human way of playing and positionally what makes to him so interesting, anyhow already this demonstrated that his force courts the 2650 - 2700 Elos that it is a force of game very much, but it is the style of game the important of this engine Hiarcs 12.1, It´s a perfect program to improve the positional game of the human beings

A lot of thanks for Mark and other Hiarcs-people for the great engine.

About PF4:
The main improvement is the native support of "adult" chessbase formats.
CBH and CTG can be used without any conversions to PGN/FBK.

Not I cannot say anything about other features.

The release in october is good.Means i can sell pf3 now before it is obsolete.I suppose some of the gui improvments are still been worked out.

How many nps Hiarcs made in the middlegame in Mercosur 2009 on
the HTC 528Mhz device?

Not so many.
<20kNps in the early positions, like any other device.

They are not very different.

On my netbook with Intel Celeron M 900Mhz Hiarcs 12.1 is about 7 times
faster than Hiarcs 12.1 on a HP iPaq 114 Pocket PC with 624Mhz.I asked
Mark Uniacke,what this difference would bring against humans? He ans-
wered:About 110 ELO points.

PF4 is done.

We have to clarify some details with the copy-protection.
PF4 has to be activated with a serial the same way, as Fritz 12.
