IDeA specific GUI

would it be hard to program an GUI which does only IDeA and can read IDeA trees from Aquarium ? would it be breaking any proprietary laws ? guess not since Aquarium reads .ctg books

One could program a GUI to perform the IDeA function....by definition then it would read IDeA trees.
The problem is that the details behind IDeA may not be in the public domain. Have you seen the IDeA operational details or source code published?
