1...e5 and let us get out of theory after no more than 10 moves !
I'd love to have a Scotch or a King's Gambit :D

Interesting that 1... e6 is not that popular. I think it offers good play for black in particular vs a pure engine. The open sicilian has the drawback of being analysed very deeply due to its rather tactical nature - and good books are usually pretty good tuned for it.

So I vote for 1...e5.

let's play a knife-sharp french in this game.... 1....e6 is my choice :)...French is full of possiblities a few moves later in the game... and can become a bloodshed in the endgame... moreover, the white's chances to win will be as minimized as possible!

can we see white's analyzing discussion too here, by the way? It would be more interesting and fair that way :)

I would also like to see b6. It gives us a good chance to control the diagonal and develophe the knight and it creates possibilities to castle on queen site.(if this might be a necessity)

Hello all, happy new year and congratulations to Hiarcs Team on winning Paderborn.

The move I would like to play is c5. But I also liked the french idea with e6.

Anyway, c5 :)

See ya
