New Computer Chess News Website (Easy for Authors!)

Post by Steve Maughan »

Are you a chess engine author?

How would you like to make one simple post about what's new with your chess engine, and have it reach computer chess enthusiasts on:

* Website
* Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/ComputerChessNews)
* Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/CompChessNews)
* RSS Feed Readers
* Email (via Feedburner)
* Google+ (coming soon)

This is the exact purpose of a new website I've set up:

http://www.ComputerChessNews.com

You can post engine announcements, commercial offers - basically anything new about your engine. It makes it easy for you to tell the world about your Computer Chess News, and it makes it easy for enthusiasts to consume the news in whichever way they prefer.

If you're interested send me a Private Mail or go to the following link to register:

http://www.computerchessnews.com/register/

In a day or two I'll post an announcement to the general forum encouraging enthusiasts to visit the site (BTW - we already have 180 Facebook "Likes").

Hopefully this will become a one-stop community driven news outlet for computer chess authors and enthusiasts alike.

Steve

P.S. The new website is not a Forum and the intention is not to divert enthusiasts away from this forum, only to provide a news source
