Which piece set did you get?
Classic Set

I've thought about getting a DGT Classic piece set as my spare, but I'm not so sure about having ebonized pieces.

The default DGT Timeless set has natural color, but the piece styling is not exactly what I prefer.

Hi Steve,

I'm curious about the packing the board came with: Did it came in a box? A collectable one?

Only asking because mine came end of september (for testing purposes) in the storage bag wrapped in a plastic bag tossed in a cardboard box...

now there's a change of subject regards

All Rev II owners should bookmark this web page
it is the official page for the Rev II:

the page has software downloads that are needed to enable the RevII to connect by Bluetooth(for future firmware updates) and also software needed to use the board as a normal DGT board
i am also told you will be able to register the board on this site for warranty purposes

Staying Current Regards

Mike
Hi Mike
the color of the last piece you place on the board is the side to move
so if you want White to move first..
set up the position and then lift up a white piece and place it back down

Piece and Color Recognition Regards

Hi Steve, I cant thank you enough for making all this great info available to us. The only drawback for me is that its making the wait for my machine feel intolerable. At a 6+ speedup for the London Rev II, I should imagine that the wundermachine will have its work cut out to match this beast. Incidentally, do you know how many games can be saved on the Rev II?

David vs Goliath regards,

Actually Paul
if you look at my post
i dont have the London 68000 module
so the test was performed against the London 68020 module
my guess is that the Rev II is running somewhere around 11-14x faster then the London 68k module

Good question for the number of saved games
actually i dont know
i checked all the manuals dating back to the Resurrection I and there is no mention of the actual total number
i fooled around a bit and was easily able to save and load 10 games
the number of the game is displayed with 6 digits like this
for game 5....000005
so perhaps 999,999 games??

 Regards

Well, I am a little bit confused ... I wrote several times that the 68.000 Emulations are now running like a original Mephisto TM Vancouver 68.030 with 66 MHz ... so why is everyone now suprised that they are 11x faster than a 68.000 12 MHz? :?:

Seems nobody read my postings Regards,

Slightly OT (but who cares  )

I knew that saying was attrib'd to Ronnie Reagan... but I enjoyed seeing it so much I decided just to wiki it.

Wiki says it is a Russian proverb -- which I found Reagan's use of it absolutely knee-slapping funny.

rofl regards,
