Want a Fidelity CB9 openings module?

Post by Larry »

A slight catch...you will have to buy a Fidelity Sensory 12 comp.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Fidelit ... Track=true

Actually a reasonably attractive price considering the module. I've already
got a sensory 12 so not enough incentive for me.

Larry, what do you think of your FS 12 playing style? Can you beat it?
What do you think of the quality?

Taking the second question first, the quality is great. It has a unique
metallic pressure sensory playing surface that will never 'crater' with
usage. The playing style is fine, and plenty strong enough for most
of us. The openings module is probably worth $120 by itself.

He bought it late in 1984, the year the Glasgow was released

I am going by the fact that it has the Budapest sticker.. on the back
the Glasgow when sold by Fidelity does not have the sticker
my EAS Budapest has the sticker and my EAS Glasgow does not
of course my Pre-Budapest EAS also does not have the sticker

I guess its possible it has the Glasgow program though
a retailer could have upgraded the program in a EAS Budapest
no way to know for sure without asking the seller

Sticker Shock Regards

Steve
I happen to a Fidelity modules price list from the year 1984, came
with the Elegance. The reason the CB9 module is more common than
the CB16 module is in the price:
CB9. $79
CB16. $120
Allowing for inflation, those two prices would each have to be
multiplied about sixfold to get today's prices.
