I played a rapid game recently, and, while analyzing, noticed that my engines seemed to have a lot of trouble with one of the positions. I thought it was curious, since it was an open, tactical position. Just wondering if those of you with faster machines have similar results. I analyzed briefly with Stockfish, Komodo, and Houdini.
The pgn follows, and the trouble arises after 20.Bxf5. In the variations which follow, all of the engines consistently underestimated the idea Rhd1.
