the Fidelity Champion. Ample playing strength, right sized playing surface,
good menu options. I've always preferred the older LED display, and this
particular model was bought new by a friend of mine in the early 80's. He
parted with over a week's income for it, and this while he was saving for
his first home. He was a chessaholic back then and got me hooked also.
When I'm travelling the Mephisto Master is my favourite. Good user friendly
options menu, good battery life, just the right amount of pressure to work
the squares, good playing strength, nice slimline design.
