import clearance

What remains unclear are the costs for import clearance. Real secret where these values are queried by ebay.

Note the Champion is a Septennial, minus the box but otherwise
in fine condition. The snipers might be waiting....

L
That's Correct
The Septennial is somewhat stronger then the Normal Champion(perhaps 100 Elo) and has more features but eliminates the 64 great games feature
perhaps Fern will not be interested in this ?

Fern will be interested up to a certain price. However, if he gets it he might be a little disappointed in its performance. The rating given is for
longer games. At 5secs/move it actually seems easier to beat than
the lower rated Champion. Like Novag, the weaknesses were taken out
in the next years model, resulting in stronger but less exciting play.
IMO he should consider buying both Septennial and Champion.

In fact I NEVER play fast games, so if this one play better at longer controls, the better. My fastest kind of games is 30 minutes the full game. Normally I use 40/90.

Notice how Fidelity included forms (photo #11) for reporting a programming problem. This wasn’t always the case, however. In fact, after playing a slew of games with my first unit (a Chess Challenger 7), I sent Fidelity Electronics of Chicago, IL a detailed report on how the computer would allow its queen to be trapped in The Sicilian Defense. Admittedly, my motives weren’t entirely selfless, as I was hoping for a free upgrade for calling this fatal flaw to their attention. Instead, all I received back was a letter of recognition with Fidelity Electronics letterhead that I have retained in my archives to this day.
