Database delete

Post by stagehand »

Is there a way to remove no longer used databases from the 'Open recent' list?

Not at present although as you use more databases they become the recent ones.

At v2.0 there will be new more advanced database name management features.
Best wishes,

In Windows they are stored in the registry (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HIARCS\HiarcsChessExplorer\Recent) so you can edit that if you know what you are doing.

Thank you, but that does seem rather extreme to do a simple job!

One workaround is to move the database away for a moment and run HCE. The missing file should be removed from the list and won't be restored when the database is back.
Best wishes,
Mark
