Analysis question

I have two questions about analyzing my games.

1. Is it possible to set Hiarcs, or Stockfish (I use both) to NOT give me a 20 move suggestion but to limit their moves to 5 or something even less?
I really don't need those huge variations.

2. Is it possible to set the pawn value at which point the engine starts making suggestions about a better move?
For example can I set it on 1 pawn, 1/2 a pawn or 1/4 of a pawn value.

Again, this is just for analyzing.
