I'm pretty sure the answer is no. SS predates the Citrine by three
years, and does not have the correct cable jack.

I think Alain Zanchetta created a program that allowed some other computers to use Citrine or Universal board. I can't remember the details but you might want to contact him and ask.

Citrine with scid-4.3-windows

Citrine works fine with the scid-4.3-windows program. Some stronger engines are available in the UCI (Universal Chess Interface) mode. As for the programs developed by Alain, they apply to the Universal Chess Board when connected to Ipaq.
