I just typed the machine's name into the search field and up popped
Nick's valuable and trustworthy site. This particular chess computer
has just never been my cup of tea, so no real opinion on it. To each his
own I guess.

There are many search programs available for free, such as: Google, Bing, and probably there is a search field or window on the web browser you are currently using...

Thanks, I thought the other chap meant the hiarcs search bar but that took me to the forum form

On schachcomputer.info you can find a wiki-elo-liste, there it states an ssdf elo of 1514 and an active chess elo (30 secs/move) of 1602. It is the same program as is the default program of the Galileo.
