A pity that the new Millennium will be yet another Lang engine. I have nothing against Lang engines, exception made of the fact that the style of them is boring to me. New Millenium will be stronger, no doubt, but, again, playing as a Lang engine does, conservative, cautious, slow...
In Uk there are other chess programmers of interest that could have been hired for the task. Martin Bryant, by example, the author of Colossus.
In fact Millenium had the chance to produce these contrivances with a host of remembered and classics programmers, so giving life to a full line of revivals instead of sticking to just one guy.
All that said.....
I will purchase the bloody thing regards...
