An Outrageous Offer To Buy...

Well.. at this stage in my life.. i think i will run out of time.. before i run of money.. in my search for these chess computers:
Fidelity EAG V8
Fidelity EAG V10
CLJ L'Empereur
Peri Alpha

i offer $5000 US for any one of these computers..
all 4...$20k
price to include shipping and all Paypal fees
computers must be in good cosmetic condition and fully functional
all original equipment...NO Upgrades
original boxes , pieces and manuals(any language OK)
For the EAG's.. a custom made Wooden Koffer is acceptable instead of the box

This Proves that a high enough price can buy ANYTHING...

the offers coming in to sell me the V8 and Peri Alpha are mind boggling

Yes I saw..5500 Euro
that's about $5800 to me
my limit was a very generous... $5000 USA(to include shipping and Paypal fees)
it figures..I offer a very high price and they always want more

I got to thinking about this one, and dropped by .info for look
at the original price for a V10 back in the year 1990.
9000 euro...!!
Now do the figures to factor in inflation and you might come up with
a figure of around 25000 euro for a V10 in today's money. Add to this
the fact that in 1990 you could call up and order a V10, something you
can't do now, and suddenly the asking price for the V10 is actually
reasonable. There's a good chance you won't find another one on sale
in your lifetime, at any price.
Maybe it's a good idea to contact the seller with an offer, if you haven't
already.
