Post by chris_miner »

Is there a way to use the Hiarcs chess engine from the command line?

If you understand the UCI protocol yes.

Run the engine from the command line, then type uci and press return.

You can now instruct the engine using UCI commands, but I warn you UCI was not really designed for humans to use so it is quite verbose.
Best wishes,
Mark
