Post by blaubaer »

Hi,

who is interested in playing a tournament with the 4 16bit Mephisto chess computers

Almeria ELO 2099 (1988)
Portorose ELO 2046 (1989)
Lyon ELO 2161 (1990)

I need three participants with the required chess modules!

Time control: 30s/move
Chess server: lichess.org
Tournament mode: Double round robin
Beginning: Dec. 1st, 2017

The only Lang I have (apart form the Mill. ChessGenius/ChessGenius Pro) is the Mephisto Mondial 68000 XL 1971 (1988). Just a little too weak I guess...

Morsch fan regards ;-),

Hi all,

I’m currently in Orlando after my Transatlantic Cruise, I’ll be back late Thursday the 23rd November.

All I have in this list is the Berlin which has already been taken ....

Cheers,

Argh, I have the the London EPROMs for the Berlin, so can upgrade to the London if that’s ok?

Or should I say downgrade looking at the ELO ratings ...

A Berlin London sounds reasonable to me. Don't know if at that point it is worth including Mephisto London as both should be identical other than the 80% larger opening book in the Mephisto London and larger ROM.. Or does the Berlin London have the same Mephisto London ROM? I never tried loading it onto a Berlin 68,000?
