INSTALLING FFRIT 16

Post by jhtruong »

I just bought the Fritz 16 and was able to complete the installation but (step #2) the activation dialogue does not pop up. Can someone please help me complete the set-up. I tried it on 2 computers one had Window XP and the other is Window 7.

Hi, I also installed it on Win7 but I have a System Error popup "api-crt-runtime-11-1-0.dll missing from your computer" and it asked me to try reinstalling the program. I did that but still with the same error popup.

Hi jhtruong, download and install this update. This should solve your problem.

Instead of having NEW versions with NO significant Upgrades Chessbase should work first on a better system to protect their programs.
Fritz 2 kicks my ass the same way FRITZ 187 will do it in 10 years down the road

NEVER is a good idea to purchase the first batch of any program.
Just wait the fixes.
M y advice: wait always at least half a year.

Cunctator regards
