Revelation II Emulations

Post by Clive »

Hi all.

I have a small problem with the Revelation emulation program.

I was trying to have a game against the Roma emulation and found I could not remember what the levels were. It is so long since I played against the program which I had in a Mephisto Montreal. I have had a look online for a manual but cannot find one. If anybody is able just to tell me how to set a game in 30 or 60 it would be much appreciated.

Also, when I was on the Lyon emulation it starts off in German. How do I change the language?

Many thanks for your help in advance.

nothing on the Rev II site either

Hi Guys

I can confirm that the emulations are ready as I have them installed on my RevII!
The only one that is not working yet is the RISC 128/512 simulation which I believe has some problems with the press sensory conversion which need to be overcome.
However both the Tasc and Montreux are up and running.

Testing regards

Hi Guys,

I have my upgrade, I just can’t remember how to send it via Bluetooth. I have the new UCI server file but have no idea what COM Port my little laptop uses, nor can I remember if I need the Rev2 in Bluetooth mode or normal mode, I’ve tried both?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks ..

Hi Scally

Looks like you DO NOT need the Rev in BT mode. The files are sent using the Revelation II program which is on the DGT site.

http://www.digitalgametechnology.com/in ... ratio=1.25

There are some instructions in the REV manual.

Hi Clive,

Thanks,

Ruud sent me the latest UCI Server program and files, but I can’t get my Mini Windows 10 Laptop to connect to the Revelation II.

I never had problems with my old Windows stuff, but that’s all gone. I’ve updated several times plus added the new engines in the past.

Maybe it’s this new Windows 10 update that has already caused me loads of problems recently, I just cannot add the Rev2 as a new Bluetooth device so can’t get the UCI server to link so as to add the new files.

Cheers,

Have you tried reseting the Rev bluetooth? I found that this seems to do the trick when you cannot connect.

Yes mate, several times.

Just tried the misses win 10 Laptop, the Bluetooth add device just finds an unknown device and will not connect.

I’m assuming the Rev2 should be in normal mode, not Bluetooth mode.
It connects straight away to PicoChess in Bluetooth mode?

My Brain hurts .....
