new hiarcs and fritz 11 gui questions

new hiarcs and fritz 11 gui questions

is there a bug in the fritz 11 gui or in one of the hiarcs??
when i tried to load both uci engines the gui said no.....
i had to reinstall my fritz 10 gui and everything is ok.
????? Any comments? Suggestions??? Thx in advance.

Maybe you're giving too much RAM to the engines? If the RAM exceeds a certain point, both engines will try to use more RAM than what you have available.

Try to give 32MB or 16MB of RAM to the engines.

There does seem to be an issue in GUI11 sometimes when trying to create a UCI engine. The best solution is to create in GUI10 if you have it.

and the come back to gui 11 once they have been created?
it seems a better or faster one than gui110.....

would u advise me to leave me gui 10 installed or should i delete it completeley? thx.

It is up to you - you may need it when you get your next UCI engine.

I had never before found this problem installing other uci engines with gui11........ just with hiarcs....... weird... isnt it?
