This is where we will discuss the finer points of Fishing. Anybody who wants to play get in touch with me. If you agree to play for the Hiarcs team all discussion will be in this thread and must not be discussed outside until after the game.

We will play 2 games 1 as black and 1 as white. Rules will be similar to previous Hiarcs team matches.

Dylan my 2 choices for the poll are

1. Hiarcs Hooligans - one of our beta testers always starts his emails hello Hiarcs Hooligans so I like this.

2. Hiarcs Hazards

When you get around to starting the poll in the main room - i think run it for 7 days. Tick hide detailed results otherwise it will show who voted for what.

Well, I have this feeling that most of Rybka members are experts on the Sicilian, so I say let's just avoid it and play something like 1. d4 as white, and 1. e4 e5 as black.

Wouldn't that let the Rybka members to vote on the poll? I think that the poll should appear here, in the secret thread.

I want to use it to get some interest in the game. I will email all forum members about the game and the poll. If we run it here we will have about 4 votes

We can say that people who intend to play for the Rybka team are not allowed to vote. If we see any votes from known Rybka team members I will delete the votes.

Yes, where is everyone? I haven't seen Mars, DarienSar, Terry McCracken, luckytrebor, rhombus, overtond, Andrew, Jack Lad, Tony Hedlund or jebiggers around in quite a while...

I think hardcore is ok. As you can say Hiarcs is Hardcore.
