I’m looking to buy a new Chess program for my PC and have been very interested in the new HIARCS 12. I am just not sure if buying Deep HIARCS s worth the extra money for me at this time. My computer is a single processor AMD 2.4 GHz and I will have a Multi processor at some point (it may at least 3 or 4 years though). How much stronger is Deep HIARCS from the SP verision of HIARCS? Does it really make much of a difference to spend almost twice as much to get Deep HIARCS or is the SP HIARCS close to DEEP HIARCS in strength?
Sincererly,

The strength on your single core machine will be exactly the same. If you have a dual core then doubling the speed will give you 50-60 elo. So for you the SP version is best. _________________ www.Hiarcs.com |
