Hiarcs 64 bit??

Post by Kemuri »

Hi folks,

is there a 64 bit version of Hiarcs?

I can't see one on the Chessbase disk. Just wondered if it existed??

Nope :D As far as I know there is not one. Hiarcs 12 is not x64 like Rybka and Zappa. Maybe one day, but who knows

There was a 64 bit version of hiarcs 10 uci but it didn't gain much strength over the 32 bit version due to the internal structure of hiarcs at the time.

I've only seen X54 as 64 bit, but again, nothing to talk about strenghtwise.
